How can we help?
Our first questions are always: what is the heart of your story? The engine of your novel? The main driver of your plot? We build your edits from here, deep diving into all aspects of your manuscript, examining voice and theme, plot and pace, characterization and motivation, dialogue and description.
What you get
We provide a report of six to eight pages. Writers then book an hour-long consultation with their editor (on the phone, online or in person) to discuss their response to our thoughts, and together we work on a plan to move the project to the next level.
Our costs
As an example of our costs, manuscripts up to 90K words: £895
For manuscripts above 90K: £50 for every 5K words
We accept work in progress with a synopsis
Manuscripts of 50K and under will be charged at £500
