We have three complimentary spots for our Winter Series at Soho House’s Brighton Beach House
Our Winter Writing Series is a monthly members workshop for new writers. We are thrilled to offer three complimentary spots for unwaged or underrepresented voices.
Creative writing is both method and magic, and we move between learning and doing, with plenty of time for debate and, of course, getting words down on the page. The series takes guests through a process of inspiration and idea generation. We’ll explore the building blocks of story, examine what makes a believable character, the importance of tension and jeopardy, and how to build great scenes, providing a springboard to continue your writing journey into the future.
The series runs for six sessions once a month on a Wednesday night, beginning October 4th.
