Designed in partnership with the creative hub that is Birch community, ours are no ordinary writing retreats.
Set over two and half days, The Writers’ School at Birch will examine some of the core skills essential to good writing. We’ll study examples from well-known novels to help bring the theory to life and stimulate discussion and debate. But most importantly, we will be writing: starting and building upon a piece of work across the days so that everyone will leave with a scene, a chapter or an outline. A bridge to the writers’ life beyond the workshop.
